This form is designed to report, after the event, any incident or problems for people using Sandgate seafront.
We regularly receive reports of collisions between users of the promenade and other problems. We want to create the fullest possible log of incidents so that we can work with other authorities – including Folkestone and Hythe District Council and Kent County Council – on improvements and enhancements to the area and safety measures that make the area as safe as possible for everyone. Only by having a clear picture of the problems we have now, and how frequently they occur, can we help resolve them in future.
Please ONLY use this form to notify us of incidents after the event: there is NO live response service. If there is an injury that needs medical attention, call 111 or, if severe, 999 immediately. Equally, if Police attendance is required, call 999.
Please do not include details (name / addresses etc) of other people involved in the incident in your report as we would require their consent to pass them on or retain on our records.
Note: All information submitted in this report may be recorded by Sandgate Parish Council, and reported as required to Folkestone and Hythe District Council and Kent County Council and other responsible bodies.
The council has systems and processes in place to make sure the records it holds about you (on paper and electronically) are done in a secure way and it would only make them available to those who have a right to see them.
The Parish Council will keep your personal information up to 18 months.
If you have any concerns about how SPC is handling your personal data, these can be raised with the Parish Council’s Data Protection Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org
